Origins and ownership
All Nippon Airways’ roots can be traced back to December 27, 1952 when Japan Helicopter and Aeroplane was formed. The aforementioned airline company is behind ANA’s IATA code being NH.
The Chief Executive Officer and President of All Nippon Airways is Shinya Katanozaka. He joined the company in April 1979. He handled several directory and executive positions before being appointed to his current position in April 2015.
