Cebu Pacific was established on August 26, 1988 and commenced its operations on March 8, 1996. In year 2000, the airline was granted rights to operate international flights to the region. The destinations included were Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Guam, and Hong Kong. Other international flights were launched on November 22 of the following year.
Lance Gokongwei is the current President and Chief Executive Officer of Cebu Pacific. He graduated with double summa cum laude honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Applied Science, and degree in Finance from Wharton School of Business.
Its headquarters is located at Old Domestic, Pasay City, Philippines. Cebu Pacific has six hubs, namely Mactan-Cebu International Airport (Cebu), Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Manila), Kalibo International Airport, Clark International Airport, Francisco Bangoy International Airport (Davao), and Iloilo International Airport.
Cebu Pacific has a fleet size of 57 aircrafts and flies to 25 international destinations in 15 countries and 33 domestic destinations.

The Cebu Pacific website allows passengers to check in online (recommended: from 72 hours to 4 hours prior to scheduled international flight and 2 hours for domestic flights), manage flight bookings, view itinerary, flight schedule and status. Promos and other services can also be viewed from the website.
Cebu Pacific also accommodates passengers with reduced mobility, expectant mothers, Unaccompanied minors and infants. The airlines asks passengers who need special assistance to make arrangements at least 48 hours before their scheduled flight. The airline also warns its passengers that their might be instances where they will have to pay minimal handling fee for the use of lifts at certain airports.
