JetBlue Reviews

jetblue-reviews-logoBack in the 1950s to 1960s, commercial aviation was still a fairly new thing and a single flight costs about 5% of an average worker’s yearly salary. Luckily, travelers nowadays no longer have to pay as much for a single flight ticket.

One factor that affected the significant lowering of airline ticket prices is competition. More airlines began popping into existence and people had more options. With that, airline operators needed to find a way to attract more passengers. Thus, low-cost carriers were born.

Low-cost carriers offer flights to various destinations much like regular airlines do, with less luxuries. JetBlue, an American low-cost, is trying to change this. The airline wants to offer affordable tickets without having to sacrifice the in-flight services. Today, come check out the latest JetBlue reviews to give you an idea on how well this airline operates.

Origins and ownership

In February 11, 2000, the airline commenced its operations.

The current President and Chief Executive Officer of JetBlue is Robin Hayes. He was elected to his current position in February 2015. Hayes joined JetBlue in August 2008, serving as its Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President.

What people are saying

Surprisingly for a low-cost airline, the JetBlue reviews are generally positive. The passengers liked the simplicity of the airline. The seats may not be the best ones out there, and the legroom isn’t as large, but for the price that passengers paid for, the tickets are basically a deal.

Here are some of the good and bad JetBlue reviews:

You get what you pay for with Jetblue. Simple formula that works very well. Flew from Orlando to Salt Lake City. Perhaps the age of the plane varies, thus the seat designs change, but overall it’s a predictable formula which I very much appreciate in the US. This was a 4.5 hour flight, so quite long. We paid for extra legroom, which to me makes all the difference. Was worth it.

I have used JetBlue for the first time on July 2016, the quality of services on the ground as well during the flight were very good. The flight attendants are friendly and smiling all the time and generous.

The website

I feel like the website’s design follows the airline’s business strategy. Simple, clean, and fast. The minimal designs and concise information makes it easy to navigate the site and get stuff done.

Need to book a flight with JetBlue? Simply fill up the flight search form in the middle of their homepage (right under the large, blue “Buy” label) and click the orange “find it” button to see the results of your query. Select the flight that you like and purchase the ticket online. It’s that easy. Aside from flights, you may also book a flight and hotel bundle by clicking on the “Flights + Hotel = Savings” button found on the upper portion of the aforementioned booking form.

Moreover, passengers may manage their existing bookings online, do an online check-in, plan trips, and more.
