What people are saying
I was surprised to find a massive amount of positive reviews that shows how good TAP Portugal really is. With their punctual flight schedules, comfortable seats, great flight entertainment, savory meals and courteous staff; you will surely feel the convenience, efficiency and the relaxing feeling while you fly with TAP Portugal. Here are some of the reviews:
“I had read some bad reviews on this site, but went ahead with TAP because it gave a discount to people going to a medical conference that I attended. TAP was as good as major U.S. airlines and I enjoyed their meals more. I flew TAP nonstop from Boston to Lisbon. After visiting Lisbon, which I highly recommend, I flew TAP to Barcelona. I toured Spanish cities and then flew TAP back to Boston from Madrid. Although it didn’t apply to me, the deal in which they offer a stopover in Lisbon on your way elsewhere is terrific and I’ll be recommending this to my friends. In 2014, I took a similar deal to see Iceland from Iceland Air and was very pleased.”

“TAP’s web site is kind of outdated and bonding with TAP is not easy. Even their frequent flyer programs are hard to explore or reach, even when you frequently fly TAP. However, they have good new and modern aircraft, very welcoming cabin crew and boarding always is fluent. Always a nice snack on the flight and cabin crew that understand needs of the customer. I love TAP.”

“First time flying this airline. Onetime, clean, pleasant, bathrooms clean as well. Served a meal (decent for airline food), glass of wine and ample water during the 7+hour flight. Economy legroom tight and backpack can’t go under sea – only a small purse or very small non-rolling backpack so be prepared for that. I packed everything in my rolling backpack, had a window seat and then couldn’t access anything without a big hassle. Attendants very nice and professional and attentive enough. Movies and screen, as well as ear phones worked clearly and all in all it was quite pleasant. If you can recommend upgrading to Executive Class it is worth it. Much more spacious and upgrades on everything. With economy you can check in one bag and with Executive you can check in two. If you do online check-in 24hours before you can select your seats. I would definitely use TAP again.”

The website is originally presented in Portuguese but it allows users to change its language by clicking the flag on the upper-right-hand of the web layout. The website’s interface is consist of large and colorful photos that acts as an advertisement as they have air fares and prices on them. Scrolling down, several flight promos are still posted. A very vivid and colorful website that allows a user to search for available flights, do online check-ins, check for flight information and manage a customer’s booking.
