Reviews – What People Are Saying
Here are some Canberra Airport Reviews submitted by some passengers and visitors who have used the facilities and services of the airport.
Canberra Airport works hard in order to address the needs of their passengers, especially those who have special needs and require additional assistance. Passengers who need special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to make arrangements in advance by contacting their respective airlines, tour guides or travel agents. The airport staff can help navigate passengers through security screenings and other airport facilities but the airline will then be one responsible in assisting the passenger when boarding and disembarking the aircraft. The airport also provides lost and found services which provides assistance to passengers who have lost their belongings within the terminal building.
A new public departures lounge was recently added to Canberra Airport’s facilities. It has state of the art media and business lounges, seating and meeting areas, bar and cafe and private meeting rooms to make business traveling more convenient.
The airport has a wide selection of dining establishments that passengers can go to if they feel the need of grabbing something to eat. Hudsons Coffee, International Bar and Cafe, Limestone Cafe and Bar, and Tuk Chop are some of the dining establishments in the airport. Canberra also has different shops like RELAY (located at the departures concourse) and JR/Duty Free (at the International Departures Terminal) for the passengers can check out to purchase gift items for themselves or their loved one before boarding their flight or leaving the airport.
Free Wi-Fi hotspots are available in the International Departures Lounge and Express Pick-Up waiting lounge of the Canberra Airport. SIM Cards, Currency Exchange, ATMs, and pay phones are located at the Departures Concourse and are accessible for all passengers.
Canberra Airport, managed and operated by the Canberra Airport Group Pty Ltd., is located at the eastern edge of North Canberra
